What is Featured Snippet?
Featured snippets, also called "Position 0", are special search result boxes that Google displays above organic results. They contain an excerpt from a webpage that directly answers the user's question. There are different types: paragraph snippets (text answers), list snippets (numbered or bulleted), table snippets, and video snippets. Featured snippets offer enormous visibility and can significantly increase click-through rate. To rank for a featured snippet, content should be clearly structured, answer questions directly, and already rank in the top 10 for that keyword. Not all search queries trigger featured snippets.
